The Mediaburst network. How does it work?

To send a message, clients connect to Mediaburst via the internet. You do this by using a Mediaburst application or by integrating your own tool with the Mediaburst Gateway. To ensure complete security, industry standard firewalls are used.

Mediaburst’s network is geographically dispersed and mirrored, delivering complete resilience. The multiple routes your service can take minimise service affecting issues.

Security

Clients interface with Mediaburst’s network through high security 128-bit SSL or Triple DES Virtual Private Networks providing 168-bit encryption. Cisco solutions are used for all firewalls, routing and networks.

With your customer database as your biggest asset you need to be certain no-one can access it or use your data. What would happen if equipment failed or there was a fire? How would this affect your business? We’ve thought of all of these eventualities and more, and have put systems and processes in place to mitigate these risks.

Mediaburst is registered under the 1998 Data Protection Act. Our Privacy Policy further details our commitment to protecting your data and your privacy.

Resilience

The Mediaburst platform has an inbuilt self-checking/self-repairing system that identifies errors and corrects them automatically to minimise service affecting instances.

We have online control of the network, ensuring speed of resolution and lack of dependence on one location or one machine.

All services have multiple redundant components with multiple sources of power, protected with UPS & generators.

We have “hot swappable” redundant components, which means we do not have to take a server down to repair it

24/7 Support

Access is available an engineer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Out of hours, not only do our engineers respond to emergency calls, they also perform routine checks to ensure quality of service is maximised across Mediaburst’s systems.
