API returning Internal Server Errors for a few minutes
One of SMS API servers was returning Internal Server errors for a few minutes this afternoon starting at 15:39. As soon as our internal monitoring picked up the problem we took the server out of use, allowing messages to be sent as normal.
This error was caused by a failed software update, which misplaced an important class library although it had installed sucesfully on our other servers.
If you received a 500 HTTP status code or Internal Server Error message, when trying to send a mesage this afternoon, it has not been sent and should be retried.
