The new GDPR legislation comes into effect tomorrow (May 25th) and we’ve spent the last few months getting ready for it.
We’ve updated Textburst, Clockwork and SurveyMill to align us with new GDPR rules, giving you new reassurances about how your data’s used and better control over what we send you.
We’ve also improved the way we keep our records and publish our legal documents so it’s easier for us all to keep track of what we agreed to.
The new documents are available to view at legal.mediaburst.co.uk.
They apply now and we’ll ask you to confirm you agree to them when you log in to one of the apps.
Opt-ins for our email marketing lists
We’d love to still be able to send you useful information, app updates, news and offers. Of course, it’s entirely up to you.
You’ll find a new communications preferences page in the settings on all three apps, so you can opt in and out whenever you like. Naturally, as an account owner, you’ll still get important updates and notifications (like this one) either way.
Behind the scenes
We’ve done lots of other work in the background to change the way we store data – making it easier for us to look after your data and paving the way for some new features to help you do it, too.
