• How do I get started?

    Whether you’re experienced in SMS or just starting out, we find the best approach is to get stuck in and have a go. You can sign up for free for any of our products and then get in touch and we’ll add some free credit on for you to test with.

  • How many text messages can you handle?

    Some customers send millions of messages, spread evenly throughout the month, some send large bursts at a time. Our systems are built to manage huge volumes within any desired timeframe.

  • How quickly are my messages sent?

    Very. We continually optimise our technology so you can send thousands of text messages in seconds. Throughput has never been an issue.

  • Can I integrate my internal systems or application?

    Yes, absolutely. Our easy text message API, Clockwork lets your apps send and receive SMS. Software integration is a painless process and we cater for most configurations. We have a range of tools that your developers can use to connect to our network. If your data is particularly sensitive, we can increase security via a VPN connection.   • What if I just want to send text messages via the web?

    We’ve got that covered too. Textburst is a user-friendly, web-based application that’s easily rolled out to an internal or remote team. In fact, it’s accessible from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection. It’s used by a range of customers from corner shops to large multinationals with call centres. We can have you up and running with Textburst in minutes and for some of our customers, it’s all they need.

  • I’m already using a competitor service, can you help me to move?

    Maybe you’ve outgrown your existing supplier, or they can’t provide the level of service you need? Naturally we are here to assist your transition to Mediaburst, whether this is moving data or helping to connect your applications or internal systems. If your systems are currently integrated directly with another supplier, we recommend involving one of your technical team in an initial phone call with us.

  • Can you beat my existing supplier quote?

    Our pricing is very competitive for the level of service we provide. We’re never going to be the cheapest supplier because we use secure, UK plus routes and run on fully secure systems with no maintenance windows. Our four products each have some great features for you to explore and benefit from. Our UK rates start at 4p/SMS but if you’re sending over 1,000 texts per month, get in touch and we’ll make sure we get you the best rate possible.

  • What countries can I send messages to?

    We send to 177 countries worldwide. If you’re looking to send to a particular country, you can view which countries and networks we support on our pricing pages on either the Textburst or Clockwork websites. When you first sign up, your account will be enabled to send to the UK. To add other countries contact our support team.

  • What is your data retention policy?

    You can view our individual products’ data retention policies at: Textburst, Clockwork, SurveyMill and Florence.

  • What kind of businesses choose Mediaburst?

    We work with financial institutions, Telco’s, government bodies, health services, supermarkets, small businesses and lots more. Our clients all have one thing in common, they want to deliver text messages to the phones of their customers, staff members or other business contacts.   • I’m concerned about my data. How secure are your servers?

    Data security is our top priority, we cannot stress this enough. In addition to the legal protections afforded to you by the Data Protection Act 1998 we go the extra mile to ensure your data remains just that, yours. We provide corporate class security for your data and communications. Security features include: Secure UK-based data centres, Cisco firewalls, passwords and SSL certificates with extended validation.

    Customers with particularly sensitive data, such as those in the finance and healthcare sectors, should consider VPN connections, the best possible security for internet based transactions.

  • What are your payment terms?

    Many customers log in and top up their account by credit/debit card or PayPal. If you’re sending more than 500 texts per month you can upgrade to a credit account which means you’ll be invoiced monthly for all texts sent during the previous month. To apply for a credit account, complete our credit application form and email it back to us.

  • Is Mediaburst GDPR compliant?

    We did lots of work ahead of GDPR coming into effect in May 2018 to ensure we were as GDPR compliant as possible. Here’s our GDPR blog post.
